Meet
Entry Payments via Paypal
Our
payment methods encourage a “pay as you go” policy
for your swimmer’s meet entry fees. Credit cards and escrow
account handling are far too time-consuming for effective administration
and reconciliation. There is also often a long lag time between
meet entries and receipt of checks, credit card payments, and
escrow deductions.
Meet entry fees must be made at the time of meet entry by either:
-
Setting up a personal account with Paypal online processing
and doing meet entries online. At the end of online meet signup,
you will directly access Paypal and process payment to Club
Wolverine Swimming. Paypal is secure, it gives you full control
over your method of payment (credit card, bank account, etc.)
and account status. Importantly, with Paypal processing, it
is not necessary for the club to store sensitive financial
information for our families in either hardcopy or electronic
form.
-
Writing
a check to "Club Wolverine Swimming, Inc.," completing
a manual (paper-based) meet entry, and submitting the entry
and attached check to the Treasurer in time to meet the entry
deadline. Entries without payment are not allowed.
Strictly
maintaining the above meet entry payment policy ensures the financial
health of the club and reduces administrative costs for reconciliation
and collection.
For more Paypal information and instructions for setting up an
account, see “Making Online
Payments to CW.”
Membership
Obligations
The
swimmer registration packet includes codes of conduct that apply
to both parents and swimmers. Please read them carefully.
In addition, by registering with Club Wolverine Swimming, you
agree to fulfill minimum expectations for every family’s
service to the club by working at important host swim meets and
other designated activities. These host meets are significant
fundraising opportunities for the club; money raised helps to
reduce fees for every swimmer.
