10
& Under Program Requirements
Program
Info
The
10 & Under program caters to all swimmers under the age of
10, from state team "veterans," to new recruits fresh
from a great summer league experience to kids who have developed
beyond local lesson programs and have yet to compete. Everyone
has a place to swim.
CW 10U swimmers have fun! Body balance, kicking and stroke efficiency
are the cornerstones of our 10U program. We believe in allowing
our young athletes to develop as they mature, supporting them
as they grow into strong, efficent young swimmers.
Please carefully read the requirements for each practice group. Group requirements are intended to allow our coaches to work more effectively within their practices, not to isolate or segregate. Our coaches always have your swimmer's best interest and long-term development in mind.
When possible, we offer multiple practice times and locations to allow
flexibility in the typical family schedule. Practices are during after school hours during the school year. During the summer, a mix of morning and evening practices is typically offered.
Check the Pool Schedule page for updated schedules.
