Club Wolverine swimmers put on a fantastic show last weekend at the 13&Over State Meet at EMU.  CW and the Detroit Tiger Sharks put on a great meet despite some challenges from the timing system and heat related to the unseasonably warm weather. 

All CW swimmers had a great meet.  The following were event winners:

Kayla Douglas, Moran Zebley, Stephanie Boyle-Open 400 Medley relay

Adrian Law-Open 100 back, 400 Medley relay

Victor Zhang-Open 500 free, 400 Medley relay, 800 free relay

Avery Evenson-Open 800 free relay, 1650 free

Emma Craig-Open 800 free relay

James Fisher, Adam Seroka-Open 800 free relay, 400 free relay

Adam Whitener-Open 200 back, 400 free relay

Josh Ehrman-Open 400 free relay

In addition, David Boland set state records in the 15-16 age division in the 200 fly (1:49.48), and 200 breast (2:03.55).  And the group of Jim Riegger (back), Josh Ehrman (breast), David Boland (fly) and Adam Whitener (free) set a state record in the 400 medley relay at 3:27.94.  This was about 11 seconds under the previous state record and just missed the national record by only 1.2 seconds.
