Anna Demonte had a long 2 weeks recently. She attended both the National meet (only CW age group swimmer) and the Junior National meet in Palo Alto, CA at Stanford University. Anna was in CA for 2 weeks. But it all paid off for her when she swam an Olympic Trial qualifying time in the 200 back. Anna went 2:17.72 to beat the cut of 2:17.99. She also qualified for her first final, making the B final. In the evening she bettered her time with a 2:17.34 effort. Also in a time trial at the national meet Anna just missed another Trial cut, by 0.3 seconds, in the 200 IM. Congratulations to Anna and we'll be cheering for her next summer at the Olympic Trials in Omaha, NE.
