CW Places Highest Ever

The long-course Toyota Virtual Club Championships for 2009 concluded on 8/31 and CW had its highest finish ever with a 17th place!  This past short-course season CW finished 24th and last year long-course CW finished 19th.

This ranking is truly reflective of the strength of the CW age-group swimmers.  The program uses the same point system used for IMX scoring.  With these points the top 2 swimmers for each event and for each age from 11 to 18 (both boys and girls) are used.   But any one swimmer can only be scored in 4 events.  These points are tallied for the final score.

This finish is impressive as the programs above CW are the top programs in the country.  Great job by our swimmers and our coaches for this achievement.  Click on the Toyota Virtual Club Championships logo to the left to see our ranking.
