Below is some important
information for SCRIP users who have purchased cards for
Blockbuster. Also, note that there are two more SCRIP
deadline dates coming up in the fall for orders. They are
November 7th and December 5th. Remember that these cards make
GREAT Holiday gifts. Contact the SCRIP coordinator, Mary

Blockbuster Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
On September 23, 2010, Blockbuster voluntarily filed for Chapter 11
bankruptcy protection. It is Great Lakes Scrip
Center's policy to stop selling the gift cards of a retailer
who has filed for bankruptcy protection, therefore, once Great
Lakes Scrip Center's inventory is depleted, Blockbuster
gift cards will not be available. Great Lakes Scrip Center
will not accept returns of Blockbuster gift cards.
However, Blockbuster has received bankruptcy court approval to
continue to honor gift cards during the company's
reorganization. Additional information on Blockbuster's

Blockbuster gift cards, as soon as possible.
